Never a diagnosis

If your doctor said something different, your doctor is right.

Open it, pick your stage, and your home is ready.

Stays in your family

Saved on your phone first. Never sold. Deleted in one tap.

The idea

Everything you do reaches your child. What you eat while you’re trying. How calm you feel at twenty weeks. How you answer a question at bedtime. You won’t get it all right, and nobody does. ParentVeda is here so you can do the best you can, at every step, for them.

One companion for all four

It starts before the first test and grows up with them.

Each phase shapes your child in its own way, and each asks something different of you. Here is what matters most in each, and how ParentVeda helps. Everything you tell it carries forward, so you never start again.

Trying to conceive

Become the best place for a baby to begin.

Trying is exciting, and it can be hard. It’s also the moment to get your body, your mind and the two of you ready: better food, better sleep, less strain, the habits worth leaving behind, and knowing when it’s time to see a doctor. ParentVeda walks you through it month by month, without countdowns or odds.

Fertile daysYour fertile days are likely around now. Likely, never certain, and there’s no need to plan every night around them.

An example 28-day cycle. Yours is your own, and the app reads it from your dates.

Parenting · birth to 5

Be the parent they need, one day at a time.

Nobody hands you a manual. ParentVeda knows your child’s age and shows what matters now: sleep, food, fevers, first words, big feelings. It looks after you too, because a calm, rested parent is a child’s safest place.

Inside parenting
  1. Day oneThe first 40 days begin, for the baby and for the mother’s own recovery.
  2. 6 weeksThe first round of vaccines on the Indian schedule, and very often the first real smile.
  3. 6 monthsAnnaprashan, first foods, and a kitchen that suddenly needs a second plan.
  4. 1 yearFirst steps for some, first words for others, and neither is a race.
  5. 2 yearsBig feelings, big words, and the potty days.
  6. 3 to 5Early learning at home, habits, and getting ready for school.
Skilling · ages 6 to 14

Skills for the world they’ll grow up in.

Maths as a brain gym, not marks. Coding as the language we use to talk to AI. Speaking up, holding focus, understanding feelings. A few minutes a day, done together at home, planned for their age. Three skills are open today and more are on the way. Effort grows ability, so there are no scores and no labels.

Ask Veda

Like calling someone who’s been through it, at any hour.

Questions don’t wait for the next appointment. Ask in your own words and get a calm answer: what it means for you and your baby, and what to do next. When something needs a doctor, Veda says so straight away.

  • Answers from our own library, never made up
  • Worrying signs get one answer: call your doctor
  • Other parents’ stories are shared as stories, never as medical advice
How Ask Veda works
Pregnancy · week 14

Veda’s answer

Fully ripe papaya, in small amounts, is generally considered fine. It’s unripe or semi-ripe papaya that doctors usually ask you to avoid.

What this means

Green papaya contains latex, which is thought to be able to trigger contractions. Ripe fruit has very little of it.

What you can do

Choose soft, fully ripe fruit. If your doctor has asked you to avoid papaya altogether, follow your doctor.

Garbh Sanskar

Your calm is their first lullaby.

An old Indian practice, offered gently. The part science is clearest about is your voice: your baby comes to know it. So there’s something to say aloud every day, something to listen to together, and quiet minutes for you. It promises nothing about how clever your baby will be, and we say so.

  • ShravanSacred listening: real raga and nature recordings, with the musicians named.
  • SamvadCards to read aloud to your baby, and your own voice, recorded.
  • KriyaBreath and grounding, a few minutes at a time.
  • BuddhiPuzzles and word games, a few minutes that are only yours.
Made here, for here

Written for the family you actually have.

Your mother-in-law’s advice, your doctor’s instructions and the internet rarely agree. ParentVeda starts from how Indian families actually live, keeps what’s good for your child, and is honest about the rest.

  • An Indian kitchen, not a translated one

Trimester diet charts built on dal, roti and sabzi. Around 40 pregnancy recipes, Jain options, and what to do on fasting days.

  • Traditions, held up honestly

Annaprashan, mundan, malish, naming. What each one means, and what the evidence says about it.

  • The vaccine schedule

Every vaccine from birth to two, why it’s given and what to do after. Reminders so none slips.

  • Tests, with Indian prices

Scans and blood tests explained in plain words, with what they roughly cost here.

  • Hindi, when you want it

Much of pregnancy is written in Hindi, in Devanagari, and it can be read aloud to you.

  • Keepsakes that stay

A journal, letters to your baby, a bump-photo flipbook and a booklet of the whole journey.

  • Birth clubs, by due month

Talk to parents due the same month as you. Stories stay stories: they’re never used as medical advice.

For fathers

He gets his own app. Not a copy of hers.

A baby has two parents from the very first day. His side of ParentVeda gives him a daily moment, a page for every week, things to read aloud to the bump, and a plain list of what to do next. He joins with her code.

  • He can read what she shares. He can never change it.
  • While trying, he sees the chapter you’re in, never your raw cycle.

Our promises

Six things ParentVeda will never do.

We’ll always tell you what’s worth doing for your child, and why. What we won’t do is worry you, score you, sell what you tell us, or promise outcomes nobody can promise. These rules are built into the app itself, so no future update can quietly bend them.

Calm is a feature. So is saying no.

  1. Never1 of 6

    Tell you your odds

No “your chance this month”, no success rates. Only facts that are true for everyone, and only when they take pressure off.

  2. Never2 of 6

    Diagnose you or your child

We explain and help you prepare. Your doctor decides, and if they’ve said something different, they’re right.

  3. Never3 of 6

Guilt you into opening the app

No streaks, points or scores. Miss a week and nothing turns red.

  4. Never4 of 6

    Sell what you tell us

Not to advertisers, employers or insurers. It’s saved on your phone first.

  5. Never5 of 6

    Hide an advertisement

Anything a brand paid for carries the same “Presented by” label, in the same place, every time.

  6. Never6 of 6

Sell to you in a hard moment

Screens about bleeding, loss or feeling low show help. Never a product.

FAQ

Questions families ask us

What is ParentVeda, in a sentence?

A companion for the years when two people become a family: trying to conceive, pregnancy, parenting and the growing-up years. At each step it shows the best you can do for your child, in plain words, and answers your questions when they come.

Does following it guarantee anything?

No, and we’ll never claim it does. We share what’s worth doing for your child and why, from good guidance, and we don’t promise outcomes nobody can promise. Every child arrives, and grows, on their own schedule.

Is ParentVeda free?

You can start without an account and without paying. A few things, like classes and specialist consultations, will cost money, and they always say so before you tap.

Does it replace my doctor?

No, and it’s built so it can’t try to. ParentVeda explains, reminds and helps you prepare. It never diagnoses, and if your doctor has said something different, your doctor is right.

Where does my information go?

It is saved on your phone first. If you choose to sign in, it syncs to your account so you don’t lose it. It is never sold, and you can delete everything in one tap.

Is it in Hindi?

Much of the pregnancy journey is in Hindi, written in Devanagari, and it can be read aloud to you. The other stages are in English for now.

Can my husband use it too?

Yes. He gets his own version, with a daily moment, a weekly page and things to read aloud. He joins with your code, and he can read what you share but never change it.

What ages does it cover?

Trying to conceive, pregnancy from week 4 to 40, parenting from birth to 5, and skilling for children from 6 to 14.

Is Ask Veda a doctor?

No. Ask Veda answers from ParentVeda’s own library and says so when it doesn’t know. For anything urgent, like bleeding, severe pain or your baby moving less, it doesn’t answer at all. It tells you to call your doctor.

When can I download it?

ParentVeda is launching on Google Play first. The download page will have the link the day it goes live.
